The internet is like a big part of my day because it helps me talk to friends and do my schoolwork very fast. I use it to learn things, watch fun videos, and see what is happening in the world, so it is a very important tool for me. This is why media education is useful, because it teaches us how to use the internet and understand what we see online. One good thing about media education is that it helps us think for ourselves so we don’t believe lies or fake news. It also makes us more creative because we learn how to make our own videos or posts. It even teaches us how to be nice to people online and how to keep our private secrets safe. But there are some bad things too, like how spending too much time on the internet means we might not play outside or talk to people in person as much. Another big problem is that looking at screens for a long time can hurt our eyes and give us headaches, though I am careful and do not look at my screen for too long. Sometimes there is just too much information, which can make students feel tired or confused. Some people also think we might forget how to enjoy normal books if we use technology too much. Even with these problems, the internet is still a huge part of my life, and media education helps me use it in a smart and safe way.
